something in the air

April 13, 2008

last friday, i had an interview with this company where my friend referred me to. i got kind of excited because i really liked the company and it was one of the first ones i tried getting a job with, only i didn’t get in. but now that i have a friend there and they are looking for an hombre for the job (when i say hombre, i mean somebody who can handle the job). another reason why i got excited is because it had a loose environment there and i know that i’m more productive with that kind of environment unlike the one that i am in right now. even more excited because i think i have a good chance at getting this job because one of the people who’s recruiting is my friend and she already knows me and how i handle my job. excitement is in the air – i think about it all the time.

hey have you read this article about 6 teenager girls beating up 1 teenage girl? apparently, this girl said some negative things about the other 6 over myspace. then, they invited her over and beat her up while having two other guys guard the door so nobody would come in. and while they were beating up this girl, they were filming it for myspace and youtube to gain popularity by means of viral marketing (it was posted in youtube but was scrapped off, all you can watch now are video comments and replies about it). i know the times are awful, but this really is pathetic. 6 to 1? have a little dignity for goodness sake. i say that kind of retaliation that only stupid people make. what you can’t think of a smarter way of revenge? why not say something that will hurt the girl? in my experience, words give the best damage. it makes you do a lot of crazy and boneheaded stuff. when people physically hurt you because of what you said, it only means that those words are true and nothing else. see how the 6 teens reciprocated from the girl (i intended to put the words “poor little” before “girl” here, but she did something bad that she probably deserved getting beaten up), stupid and dumb written all over. the girl, after getting a concussion and other injuries, should learn the lesson to not use myspace anymore. it’s too popular which means everybody can see what she says which could lead to things like getting abducted and beaten up so bad that you will poorly from you left eye and hear a buzzing sound from your left ear.
